I spent months climbing ladders and scaffolding. There were also skylights just above making the summer months a real challenge.

These sculptures were part of a fantasy jungle theme installed in a restaurant and comedy club located in Houston,Texas. The club today, unfortunately, is no longer open.

These two sculptures were created during my association with the Mario Chiodo Studios.

You can see that there was a skylight just above the sculpture. It was like a magnifying glass during the summer, so keeping the sculptures from drying out became a job in itself.

The final pieces were cast in fiberglass and colored with a faux bronze finish. The paint had actual bronze powder mixed in to give it an authentic bronze appearance.
